Adullam House: Adullam House is a preschool and boarding school for children of inmates. The children range in age from birth to ten years of age. At Adullam House, the children find security and structure in their daily environment. Volunteers are needed to do a little of everything such as laundry, cooking, taking care of the children, and care-giving.
American Red Cross (Elmore County): Help with blood drives in Elmore, work at donor center, transport blood, and help with office work.
Association of Christians for Service (ACTS): Volunteers help at the clothes closet, food pantry, and also with utilities. Volunteers are needed to work in a variety of jobs from hanging clothes, making up food boxes, computer work, answering telephone, etc.
Cains Chapel Food Pantry: Food pantry and clothes closet in Holtville-Deatsville area.
Community Action Mobile Meals: Volunteers deliver hot meals to homebound seniors.
Coosada Elementary School: Volunteers are needed to interact with students, individuals, groups, or classrooms. Assignments are designed to fit volunteers schedules.
Eclectic Elementary School: Volunteers are needed to interact with students, individuals, groups, or classrooms. Assignments are designed to fit volunteers schedules.
Elmore City Hall: Volunteers are needed to assist the Elmore Clerk in City Hall.
Elmore County Black Heritage Association: An organization involved in restoration of the Old Elmore County training school in Wetumpka, AL. The Association has meetings, research, hands-on restoration, tours, and a quilting group that sells quilts to raise money for the Association work.
Elmore County Commission: Work that can be done at home. Volunteers are needed to cut articles out of newspapers and make into a scrapbook. Newspapers are provided.
Elmore County Judicial Complex: Volunteers are needed to work in an office setting, file, make copies, and general office work.
Friends of the Fort: Volunteers are needed to work at Fort Toulouse and Fort Jackson at the gate, concessions, tours during reenactments, and to act during the reenactments.
Master Gardeners: Advances gardeners who do special projects in the county.
Millbrook Chamber of Commerce: Office work or other chamber related business.
Millbrook Garden Club: Beautification club in Millbrook.
Millbrook Library: Volunteers are needed to assist librarian and to work in the summer reading program.
Mobile Meals Community Action: Mobile meals delivery coordinated through Senior Centers.
NARFE-Elmore County: National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) meets monthly to learn about and discuss legislation that pertains to federal employees as well as other senior citizens.
People that Care, Inc: Volunteers are needed to separate and hang clothes in the clothing closet, stock the food pantry, make food boxes, counseling, and answer telephones.
Alabama Department of Archives and History (Elmore): Volunteers serve as docents, work in the gift shop, mend books, do mailouts, encapsulating, work the reception desk, and other special projects.
Tallassee Elementary: Volunteers are needed to interact with students, individuals, groups, or classrooms. Assignments are designed to fit volunteers schedules.
Tallassee Health Care: Volunteers are needed for a variety of jobs that include leading exercise, visiting, arts and crafts, reading, bingo, etc.
Tallassee Senior Center: Neighborhood senior center. Volunteers are needed to do a variety of activities.
Three Rivers Habitat for Humanity: Volunteers are needed to serve on the board, help plan, prepare land, build, and finish homes for low-income families.
Trail of Legends (TOLA): Plans and lays out trails for walking.
Welcome: West Elmore Christian Outreach Ministry Extension. Volunteers are needed to hang and sort clothes, food pantry work, answer telephones, and for computer input.
Wetumpka Chamber of Commerce: Volunteers are needed for office work and other related Chamber business.
Wetumpka City Library: Needs volunteers to catalog books, help with reading program
