On Thursday, August 25, 8:00 am, we will take Capital Trailways from the Fresh Market parking lot on Perry Hill Road to Childersburg where we will be given a guided tour of Desoto Caverns, experience the Lazer and Light Show, pan for Gem Stones andexplore the Butterfly House. We will then travel to Sylacauga to eat a delicious lunch at the Marble City Grill and visit the Isabel Anderson Comer Museum and Arts Center to view a fine permanent art collection, Indian artifacts, and other archaeological finds.
The Sylacauga History Room, Pioneer Room, Civil War exhibit, and World War II memorabilia are all part of the offerings. Jim Nabors, Bill Nichols, and Gen. J.W.
